Ridgemoor Swim Club relies heavily on its members. Volunteer opportunities are available all season long. Whether you can mow the lawn, water the flowers, wash windows, or even make a donation to the pool, every little bit helps our pool community become the wonderful summer oasis that it is.

Ridgemoor Pool Spring Clean-up

Saturday, May 15th 11:00 to 5:00 pm

It is time to clean-up our pool. We need your help. The date is Saturday, May 15th from 11am-5pm. Please bring rakes, shovels, wheel barrels, lawn bags, cleaning supplies, weed removers, etc., if possible.

Below is the list we need to get accomplished – look forward to seeing you there. Any amount of time is appreciated!!

Front of Club House:

Clean up front lawn area

Weed and dead head last year’s perennials

Spread Wood chips

Pick up trash

Move bike racks

Inside Club House:

Carry out lawn chairs to pool deck

Sweep entire entrance/shower/ bathroom area

Clean sinks/toilets

Wash bathroom mirrors

Wash front windows/inside and out

Sweep cobwebs from ceilings

Put toilet paper and paper towels in bathrooms

Pool Deck:

Line lawn chairs along pool on deck

Wash off lawn chairs w/ soap and water

Pull weeds from pool deck (flat head screw drivers work best)

Move picnic tables

Check grill – clean? Propane?

Back lawn area:

Sweep out shed/ mouse droppings

Pull weeds from swing set area

Pick up trash

Weed whack along fences

Volunteers are needed in many capacities to help our season run smoothly. We would like participation in some form from every swim team family at least once. We have 2 home meets and will need help with: scorekeeping, concessions, timers, runners, announcer and starter. We also need help at away meets for timing and ribbon writing for finals.

Those who are unable to help due to work or small children are asked to please donate a baked good to sell at home meets or loan a cooler with ice.

High schoolers in need of volunteer hours are very much appreciated!! Thank you!!
